LS800 running Windows 8
So I created a bootable USB flashdrive with the Windows 8 Developer version recently released and was able to install it on my LS800 with 1GB RAM and 40GB hard drive. For all intent this is like a netbook but just in tablet form. Windows 8 is fully functional with a few quirks such as getting Internet connection regardless of it showing the driver needed, actually a few drivers showing as needed and any pre-installed Windows 8 application that requires a screen real estate of more than 800 x 600 will not load, Im talking about the main window widgets, otherwise Im quite happy with the installation.
