Violin Project – Neck carving experiment

Well so I’m off to a start here, I’ve done some research on violin sizes, makes, models, acoustic, electric, hybrids, DIY’s so I wanted carve out a small violin neck blank for reference and to see where that leads.

This is a blank made out of basswood because its easier to carve and cheaper to make mistakes on but any I make off of it will be a harder wood such as maple.
